Becoming a surrogate is a profound and selfless act where a woman carries a baby for another person or couple, known as the intended parent(s). At Patriot Conceptions, our focus is on assisting intended parents who undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF), allowing the surrogate to carry a baby to whom she is not genetically or legally related. As part of our program, the surrogate is compensated for her time and efforts by the intended parent(s). The embryo is typically created from the intended father’s sperm, or donor sperm, and the intended mother’s egg, or donor egg. Upon the baby's birth, the intended parents are legally recognized on the birth certificate as the parents, assuming all responsibilities for the child.

The Surrogacy Process Simplified

Step 1: Application Process

  • Initial Intake Form

    • ​​​​​Begin your surrogacy journey by filling out our comprehensive initial intake form.

  • Phone Consultation with Consultant 

    • ​Our experienced consultants will reach out for a detailed phone consultation to guide you through the process.

  • Preliminary Screening by Agency

    • Undergo initial screening by our agency to ensure compatibility with our program.

  • Get matched with an intended parent

    • We'll facilitate the matching process, connecting you with an intended parent.

Step 2: Screening Process
4-6 Weeks

  • Presentable Profile Sent Out

    • Your profile will be shared with intended parents for consideration.

  • Skype/WeChat Interview with Intended Parents

    • Engage in a virtual interview to establish a connection with the intended parents.

  • Match Confirmation

    • Once the match is confirmed, proceed to the next steps in the process.

  • Official Medical Records Approval from IVF Facility

    • Ensure all medical records are officially approved by the IVF facility.

Step 3: Transfer Preparation
3-4 Weeks

  • Embryo Transfer Date Set-Up

    • Coordinate the schedule for the embryo transfer procedure.

  • Calendar Strictly for Medications & Injections

    • Follow a meticulously planned calendar for medications and injections.

  • Attend All IVF Medical Appointments

    • Participate in and attend all necessary IVF medical appointments.

Step 4: FET Procedure
10-12 Weeks

  • FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer)

    • Experience the Frozen Embryo Transfer procedure.

  • Confirmation of Pregnancy

    • Receive confirmation of a successful pregnancy.

  • Continue Monitoring Process for TEN Weeks

    • Undergo monitoring for the next ten weeks.

  • IVF Facility Graduation

    • Celebrate the successful completion of your journey at the IVF facility.

Step 5: Pregnancy & Delivery
36-40 Weeks

  • Routine OBGYN Check Ups

    • Regular check-ups to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

  • IP’s Establish Parental Rights

    • Intended parents establish their parental rights during this phase.

  • Deliver Baby for the IP’s

    • ​Experience the joyous moment of delivering the baby to the intended parents.
